Happy Mother's Day to all of you! I hope your day is as wonderful as mine has been!!!
Andrew let me sleep in, then he and the kids made breakfast and brought it in on a tray. How cute is that? Then, at church today, the men sang in an all men's choir for the mom's, that was very sweet. ANyway.....all of the men took over the women's callings so we could meet together. That was fun! Seeing the guys in nursery was great. They actually did a fabulous job!!! After relief society we went into the gym were the men had set up a huge dessert buffet for the women....."Are you kidding me?" was all I could think! It was amazng, it was like being on a cruise! That was the best ward mother's day I have ever seen!
It's been HOT! I'm sure it's warm in Idaho to! We are loving the weather! We went and played at my friend Debi's house. She has a huge enclosed deck that the kids can run around on and play in the water. It was so nice just to sit in the sun.
Monday we had FHE with our Home teacher's. We went to one of their houses and ate and got to know them a little better. That is always fun.
Mostly every day we have spent at home hanging out. It's been nice to just relax!
I'll be seeing you all soon! Can't wait to see ya Jared!

It's Pathetic....

My blog of course. I just don't seem to have any desire to update my life. Well here goes a new post!
Easter! Starting with a 1200 egg hunt, which you'd have to see to believe, and ending with orange brown sugar glzed ham and wonton chicken salad! No immediate family close by, my closest relatives are about an hour away, so it was just the 5 of us. We had lots of fun! Nate got a helicopter, Ben got a new bike helmet with pads, and Ava got a stroller for her baby. However, she thought she was the baby and climbed right in. I hid eggs around the yard for the kids, and after they found them they hid some for their friends to find. My favorite tradition every year, hiding really hard eggs for Andrew to find and filling them with raisins!

Christmas
Christmas was so fun this year. We got to go home to Rigby and spend time with our families! I loved being home. December is always a busy month for us, with Ava and Andrew's Birthdays, our anniversary and of course Christmas! We had such a fun morning with my mom and dad, waking up with the kids and them running to their presents. They loved their kitchen, aprons, food, candy and especially their oranges and pop tarts. Ben's world revolves around food and is constantly asking for "treats and goodies"! They got to go out and try their scooters, and have mastered them for the most part! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year!

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving morning Andrew went and played in our Ward's "Turkey Bowl" he came home covered in mud, head to toe! He was bruised and worn out, by the time he got home! He hasn't been able to walk all that well for the last few days. Why does he do that to himself? We then had Thanksgiving with just our little family of 5. It was fun though! We made appetizers for the boys, we had 7 layer dip, brie with brown sugar and nut topping, and a veggie platter! Then we watched movies, took naps while the turkey cooked and Andrew made deliscious potatoes! I was so exhausted from all that cooking, I was too tired to make pie! Imagine that, a Thanksgiving without pie! The next night our friends the Andrew's who live up in our old ward in Seattle, invited us over for an after Thanksgiving turkey dinner, and Kelly made a huge spread of food! The boys made turkey hats and gingerbread houses and we watched Disney's UP, if you haven't seen it, go get it! It's cute!

Bite of Seattle
A bunch of Seattle Restaraunt's get together and set up booths at the science center so people can come try their food all in one spot. It was so much fun and so good! We went to the booth where you pay $10 and get 6 differnt items from 6 different places. So fun. They even had one of Tom Douglas's eateries there. They say he's there sometimes, but I didn't get to meet him. One of Giada's favorite fried things was from his restaraunt called Lola's in downtown. Still on my list of things to do...but Dan, Genny, Sarah and Darryl all went with us and then we finished off the night with Harry Potter #6. Darryl totally gives us the hook up of free tickets! Thanks Allen's!

Family Pictures

Tyra and Bryce were up for a week visiting her family here in Washington, and as you know she does AMAZING pictures! Here are a few of my favorite ones. Darn Seattle rain, started misting hence my awful stringy hair! True Seattle hair though!
