Thanksgiving

I forgot what snow looked like. True snow...all 48" inches...give or take. So we spent Thanksgiving in Spokane with my Brother and sister in-law and their kids. It was so much fun. I love holidays, and I love spending them with family. We had amazing food, Andrew and Lyle built an igloo, the boys played Lego StarWars (which they still talk about). We cooked, watched movies, played in the snow, ate treats and played games. I am so Thankful for lot's of things, but what a blessing family is!

Pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins!

I love fall! The cool air, the crunch of leaves, the crisp nights....what's not to love? But most of all I love the pumpkin patches! It makes me feel like I'm a kid again, living in Idaho, surrounded by acres and acres of farms! Melanie and I went to a different pumpkin patch every week! We had a blast, and they have so many fun things for the kids to do. Halloween was a lot of fun this year, since it was on Sunday, we celebrated Saturday night. Saturday morning, we carved pumpkins, finished costumes and got ready for a big night. We had a ward trunk or treat party, a halloween party at our old ward up in Skyway, and then a party at our friends house, the Geddes's. Talk about a FUN night!!!

Ben"Man" Turns 4 the Bat way!

Benjamin loves Batman. Have you ever tried to find old school comic characters lately? Unless you order online, it's impossible! Not even Walmart had batman toys. I should have done IronMan, he was everywhere! The kids had a blast! We had awesome food, my neighbor Lupe provided Tamales and Mexican Rice, for the adults! (Indescribably Delicious!) We had a photo op where the kids got to dress like Batman or Batgirl, then they got to keep their tutu's and capes. We have a scavenger hunt the Riddler left, a bouncy castle, and finally a pinata. By the end of the party, kids from all over the neighborhood had shown up, and we had doubled our party size! Happy Birthday to my Cute Benjamin Boy! It makes me sad that the kids get older!

Jared and Ashley's Wedding

Skittles. The colors reminded me of skittles and I loved it. This was probably one of the most fun weddings I have ever been to. The kids loved it, there was a fun playset, a million cupcakes, and really great food. What's not to love. Jared and Ashley were so cute, I'm so excited they are married. I think the best part was seeing everyone, and being all together as a family!

Happy Mother's DAY!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you! I hope your day is as wonderful as mine has been!!!
Andrew let me sleep in, then he and the kids made breakfast and brought it in on a tray. How cute is that? Then, at church today, the men sang in an all men's choir for the mom's, that was very sweet. ANyway.....all of the men took over the women's callings so we could meet together. That was fun! Seeing the guys in nursery was great. They actually did a fabulous job!!! After relief society we went into the gym were the men had set up a huge dessert buffet for the women....."Are you kidding me?" was all I could think! It was amazng, it was like being on a cruise! That was the best ward mother's day I have ever seen!

It's been HOT! I'm sure it's warm in Idaho to! We are loving the weather! We went and played at my friend Debi's house. She has a huge enclosed deck that the kids can run around on and play in the water. It was so nice just to sit in the sun.
Monday we had FHE with our Home teacher's. We went to one of their houses and ate and got to know them a little better. That is always fun.
Mostly every day we have spent at home hanging out. It's been nice to just relax!
I'll be seeing you all soon! Can't wait to see ya Jared!

It's Pathetic....

My blog of course. I just don't seem to have any desire to update my life. Well here goes a new post!
Easter! Starting with a 1200 egg hunt, which you'd have to see to believe, and ending with orange brown sugar glzed ham and wonton chicken salad! No immediate family close by, my closest relatives are about an hour away, so it was just the 5 of us. We had lots of fun! Nate got a helicopter, Ben got a new bike helmet with pads, and Ava got a stroller for her baby. However, she thought she was the baby and climbed right in. I hid eggs around the yard for the kids, and after they found them they hid some for their friends to find. My favorite tradition every year, hiding really hard eggs for Andrew to find and filling them with raisins!
